The wiper blade is not contacting the center of the drivers side windshield. I have tried the old metal cage style blade and the more modern one piece rubber/plastic housing model. Both have the same problem. 2003 BMW 745 Li. Wipers do not work. I can't locate the relay, as it is not located where some of the videos say it is. The motor is fine. Also, the washer is not working. Not sure if those are relate read more. Mine has the same issue; 2001, rear wiper doesn't work, but the washer does. It would be nice to have it working, but it's not so pressing that I've invested any time to figure it out. So I'll just lurk & see what comes of your thread.:D. It's not a known problem. If it's going to work, there is only one position of the stalk to try - away from you (forward) ONE click. There are 2 fuses for the rear wiper - a 5A (#15?) and a 20A (#45?). One owner, with a new to him X3, found the 20A fuse was missing from his X3.

Press the lever forward: intermittent wipe. When reverse gear is engaged, the system switches to continuous operation. Last christmas torrent download.

To clean the rear window, press the lever further forward.
